„The Wink of an Eye” ("Okamgnienie") - is an essay-report about the achievements of science and technology in the last years of the 20th century.  A diagnosis of the present is accompanied by criticism of contemporary science from the moral point of view, also of the peculiar  entanglement of today's scientists with their sponsors and media – ruthlessly fighting for publicity.
